Alayna Mines is the owner and founder of Roots to Stems. Alayna’s passion for event planning was ignited at a young age, growing up alongside her parents as they ran one of the largest event expos in the world. Surrounded by the energy of highly detailed, fast-paced events, Alayna was drawn in early, volunteering as a child and quickly excelling in the world of event planning.
Her professional journey began as the Event Director for Stetson University’s event planning team at just 20 years old, and she later traveled across the U.S. as an Event Specialist for a high-end experiential marketing firm. Alayna had the privilege of working with top-tier brands like Ford, Disney, Universal, Facebook, and MTV, gaining invaluable experience that honed her skills in managing large-scale, high-profile events.
Inspired by her deep love for design and her passion for the wedding industry, Alayna founded Roots to Stems, where she blends her expertise in event planning with a meticulous eye for detail and creative design. She oversees every aspect of wedding design at Roots to Stems, personally collaborating with her team to ensure that each wedding vision is thoughtfully curated and beautifully executed. Alayna works closely with each client to refine and elevate mood boards, narratives, and designs, ensuring that every detail comes together perfectly.

Dani is one of our exceptional Lead Wedding Planners at Roots To Stems, combining her creative vision with a keen eye for detail to help couples design their dream wedding while ensuring every logistical element is perfectly executed. With over 10 years in the wedding industry and 20 years in events and hospitality, Dani is a Certified Wedding Planner through the Certified Wedding Planner Society.
Dani’s expertise goes beyond planning. She’s also our go-to onsite trainer, mentoring new team members and providing skill refreshers to current staff. Known for her flawless execution, Dani is our expert Lead Planner at iconic venues like The Howey Mansion, Maitland Art Center, Bella Cosa, Cypress Grove, The Palm Mansion, Luxmore Estate, and many more.
From a young age, Dani earned the nickname “the director” among family and friends for her natural ability to organize events and take charge. While working with various catering companies in New York City, she discovered her passion for weddings and decided to focus her talents on creating unforgettable wedding days.
Dani’s creative eye, unwavering attention to detail, and love for each couple’s unique story make her a true natural in the wedding world. As a Type A, perfectionist planner, Dani stops at nothing to ensure that every aspect of her couples’ special day is flawless. Nora is one of our seasoned Lead Planners at Roots to Stems, specializing in Partial Planning services. Her love for event and wedding planning began in high school when she volunteered as an event coordinator, sparking a lifelong passion that would drive her to a successful career in the event industry.
After graduating from UCF’s Rosen College of Hospitality, Nora dedicated over a decade to perfecting her craft. She honed her skills working in corporate events for a Destination Management Company, catering to high-end clients across the U.S. Her diverse experience spans Florida’s most prestigious venues and historical landmarks like Martha’s Vineyard, but her expertise truly shines in Central Florida, where she has built a strong legacy of professionalism.
Known for her impeccable attention to detail, stellar memory (seriously, she doesn’t forget a thing!), and unwavering dedication to clients, Nora has earned an outstanding reputation among venues, clients, and vendors alike. Bryanna is one of our exceptional Lead Wedding Planners at Roots To Stems, known for her boundless energy and passion for being right in the middle of the wedding magic. Though she occasionally takes on shadow and assisting roles simply for the love of the action, Bryanna’s expertise and enthusiasm have cemented her as an invaluable part of our team.
A graduate of Florida Atlantic University, Bryanna initially pursued a career in marketing but quickly discovered her true calling in the world of wedding planning. Her journey began by helping friends and family organize their events, where she realized the joy and fulfillment that comes from creating unforgettable celebrations. Enamored by the love and positivity that weddings bring, Bryanna made it her mission to spread that joy to every couple she works with.
Bryanna joined Roots To Stems as an Assistant and quickly rose to Lead Planner thanks to her sharp instincts, attention to detail, and natural coordination skills. She has flawlessly executed weddings at many of Florida’s top venues, including Luxmore Estate, Cypress Grove, Evermore Resort, Interlachen Country Club, Winter Park Events Center, Bella Cosa, Paradise Cove, Granville Farms, The Mulberry, and The Howey Mansion, among others.
Her strengths lie in her ability to stay detail-oriented, think on her feet, and solve problems with grace and efficiency—all to ensure her couples have the perfect day they’ve dreamed of. Marie is one of Roots To Stems’ Lead Wedding Planners and Event Designers, bringing a unique blend of logistical expertise, thoughtful organization, and creative vision to every celebration she plans. Before joining the team, Marie built her experience working on large-scale, multi-day, multicultural events where complex timelines, extensive guest logistics, and hospitality-focused experiences required precision, adaptability, and close attention to detail.
Her ability to manage countless moving pieces while keeping the experience seamless and welcoming has become one of her greatest strengths. Known for being highly organized, proactive, and calm under pressure, Marie has a natural talent for anticipating needs, identifying potential challenges, and creating clear systems that keep couples, families, and vendor teams supported throughout the planning process. She thrives behind the scenes, taking care of the logistics so her couples can remain present and enjoy their celebration.
Marie also brings years of experience as a wedding videographer and co-founder of her own videography company. Her background in visual storytelling gives her a distinctive understanding of how a wedding day flows, how design elements work together, and which meaningful moments deserve space to unfold naturally. This combination of logistical precision and creative perspective allows her to approach each wedding thoughtfully from both a practical and visual point of view.

She’s worked at some of Florida’s most sought-after venues, including The Howey Mansion, The Mulberry, Luxmore Estate, Cypress Grove, Granville Farms, and Smyrna Yacht Club, just to name a few. Her experience planning events for a major healthcare organization during ever-evolving guidelines has equipped her with unparalleled adaptability and a calm, solution-oriented approach.
With a deep understanding of the business side of planning, Brittani excels at collaborating with vendors, managing budgets, and creating seamless experiences for her couples. She specializes in our Partial Planning and Month-Of Planning packages, and her favorite part of every wedding day? After photographing countless weddings and capturing some of life’s most meaningful moments, Giana realized she wanted to be even more involved in bringing those celebrations to life. Her love for planning, people, and all the little details happening behind the scenes made wedding planning a natural next step.
Her background also includes working at Disney in guest services and as a PhotoPass photographer, where she perfected the art of exceptional hospitality while capturing magical moments for families from around the world. That combination of photography, weddings, and customer service has given Giana an incredible eye for detail and an instinct for anticipating what needs to happen next.
